D/J Saddlery has been creating custom western design leather goods since 1997. We specialize in water jugs, picture and mirror frames, belts, custom saddles and antique saddle restoration.

We had the idea for this saddle a couple of years ago while at the Leather Show in Sheridan. We used a couple of Wayne Jueske tools to make a unique laced look border around the edge of it. The saddle is a 15 inch seat and specially built to fit the owner. It is a combination saddle that can be used both for roping and riding colts. The saddle is built on a 15 inch Ritter Association tree with a 6 1/2 inch gullet and 4 inch back with standard Quarter Horse bars.

D/J Saddlery is located Three miles South of Belle Fourche SD in Sandstone Foothills Edition Lot 10. Directions to get there from Belle Fourche are: Go one mile South of the Hwys 85 and 34 intersection. Turn left on Sandstone Road. Follow the road to the top of the hill. The road will naturely turn to the South. Follow the road a quarter of a mile. Turn to your left just past a reindeer pen and before a green & greener house. We are just down the road an eighth of a mile to your left.
